Shinji Hashimoto “Angels Share”

A miracle relic with the supreme cutting that accelerates the groove

The solo debut work of guitarist Shinji Hashimoto, who passed away on July 17, has become an posthumous work. Although there were co-productions and supporting player, it was surprising that there was no leader work in the name of solo, but it may be an episode suitable for his play style that I could see several times. This work is a private live sound source at Funabashi Cooperage at the end of last year. Although the recording is not premised on publication, the quality is sufficient, and above all, it is hard to change that the performance was recorded with all my might against a pianist who was two times younger than me who was well-known. Mr. Hashimoto, who had already complained about his physical condition, wants to remember the deceased while enjoying the multi-layered backing as well as the angry solo that does not make him feel it.
